I just want you to know that this is for real.  I am more than willing to discuss these issues with you by phone or e-mail, if you like.

I believe that I walked the Wiccan Path for over 20 years just so that I can tell you with authority that there is no power or truth on that path comparable to what I have found on the Path to YHWH through Yeshua.  His is the Name above all names, for sooth.  Scope it out for yourself.  Try invoking Him for a little talk and just see what happens.

Following you will find a discussion I had with a Wiccan lady who responded to my husband's web site which had a discussion about Craft that she found offensive.  Perhaps it will stimulate some new perspectives in your own philosophy.

Merry Meet, Raven:
I am not the author of the piece you responded to, but I am responsible for my husband choosing to use that article on his site, http://lifeandtruth.com.  He forwarded your e-mail to me so that I could talk to you about your concerns.  I, too, was a Wiccan for over 20 years.  You may find my testimony at http://SavedXWitch.com
It may explain why I approved the use of Bill Schnoebelen's work on Kevin's site, since one of his books was intrinsic to my conversion.
Let me start by saying that, like you, I was highly offended by anyone who tried to tell me my path was going to take me to hell, so I totally understand your feelings.  It is hard to hear that it might be possible that everything you have worshipped and believed may be wrong.  It inspires a fighting instinct to defend all that you 'know in your heart' to be true.  So I ask that you try to relax and understand what I am about to say to you.
I am going to copy your letter below and respond to it point by point, so that we can have a conversation about these issues.  You may do the same when you reply.

To whomever took the liberty of writing this piece on this
Site.................
That would be Bill Schnoebelen, and you can reach him through his web site at http://www.withoneaccord.org/
I was most appalled when I read this piece entitled: The TRUTH about
Goddesses ...
I am wiccan.
And very proud of it.
I have been wiccan my whole life, and as far as I'm concerned, despite your
Proclaimed initiations, etc, you are, I feel, wrong.
Of course, that is your prerogative.  We do, indeed, have free will.
Everybody has their own spiritual path.
You have yours and I have mine.
It is true that we are all at different points on our path of spiritual growth, so, in that sense, I agree; however, obviously, there are others who share your path, and those who are treading that which I walk.
Your article, also has nothing to do with the "truth" about goddesses....
Rather, your article was focused more on proclaiming your new found beliefs
To be the one and only way...
That is part of the path of the believer in Yeshua (Jesus' Hebrew Name): that there is no way unto the Father except via Yeshua.  If this is true, it has a great deal to do with the truth about goddesses, i.e., that one cannot be with the Ultimate Creative Force by worshipping them.
This may be true to you, however you can never say it is fact...
If it is true, Believers in Yeshua (hereinafter referred to simply as 'Believers'), will indeed be able to one day say it is fact, when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Yeshua is Lord, according to Scriptural Prophecy.  That day will come when Yeshua returns to judge the 'quick and the dead.'
And as for your final comment:

"If you've stayed a Wiccan or "white" witch for a long time, it's only
Because you don't have enough of the Promethean itch to grow. OR it may be
That you have many Christian friends or loved ones praying for you."

Why involve yourself in other peoples lives?
It has nothing to do with you.
It is not your duty to guide people to a spiritual path.
Au contraire: We involve ourselves in other people's lives because all Believers are commanded to by Yeshua in the Great Commission, His final admonition to take His Truth to the whole world and spread the Gospel so that as many as can be saved will be given that opportunity.

The Bible states that Jesus gave us free will...
That is correct and I agree.  We are given the choice to follow Him or some other path.  Unfortunately for those who choose the latter, any other path leads to destruction ultimately.  If you believe that He gave us free will, can you believe the rest of what He says?
Yes, I do, as a matter-of-fact, know the bible...
Have you ever read the entire book?  It really is fascinating and I recommend it highly.
I could just as easily take what you wrote, and throw it back at you from a
Wiccan to a Christian.
I could say that I feel you were not true to your beliefs.  You doubted.
You questioned...and strayed from a path that is pure in its actions and
Beliefs.
It is important to question.  Very important.  This is another activity I highly recommend.  Especially on the path you now walk.  Believers question.  It is our nature as human beings to do so.  The difference is that Believers actually have a place to go to test anything that they are uncertain of.  Scripture, being the Word of God, is His Gift to us to answer our questions.  Kevin taught me, when I would say I felt that it was an evil God who would send people to hell, that what was a truly evil God was one who would leave us to sort out the Truth on our own pitiful resources.  I now wholeheartedly agree with that.  As to sending people to hell, I currently find the Seventh Day Adventist perspective on Scripture makes the most sense.  I can tell you more about that if you are interested.
Please understand that the Ultimate Creative Force is HOLY...and we cannot be in His Presence stained as we are with sin.  Therefore, He has provided a way to cover that sin with the blood of Yeshua.  What an incredible gift!

Yes, I will agree that EVERYTHING in life is never what it seems...  There
Is always a deeper meaning to things, however, there is no need to condemn a
Spiritual path you left...
Unless you are convinced that those who continue to tread upon it are in danger and you want to help them.  Try to remember that this is the primary purpose of Believers who are professing their perspective on Wicca, or any other path that is not founded on Yeshua.  I find it interesting that those who rant about tolerance are intolerant of this aspect of the Believers' faith.  It is not that a Believer is intolerant of your path, it is rather that the Believer is convinced that YHVH is intolerant of your path, and is trying to communicate that to you.  Please try to be tolerant of this part of the Believer's faith.
Pychologically, one could say you have regrets about leaveing your
Path...which is why this condemnation...
I can assure you that neither Bill Schnoebelen nor I have any regrets about leaving Wicca.  In fact, I have deep regrets about the time I wasted following something that could not lead me to YHVH, but instead took me far from Him and His teachings.
I will not say that Wicca is the right path.
But I WILL say that it is the right path for me.
You may not feel that way on Judgement Day, dear Raven.  I only pray that you will find your way to Yeshua before your time comes.
Since you have chosen to compare religion to religion, I shall do the
Same...

If you study the Bible, and stanism, you will find that they share some
Similarities...
For example blood sacrifices.
Because of the dreadfulness of sin, YHVH requires a blood sacrifice to atone for it.  He warned Adam & Eve that disobedience would lead to death, so it wasn't like we never knew.  It is the way the world works.
But, if you will do some research, you will find that many of the Wiccan followers in the past have indeed shed blood as sacrifice to their gods.  The Druids are the most obvious, although the Greek, Egyptian, Nordic and many other pantheons required the same of their worshippers.
Surely you are aware of the fact that today most Wiccans today to the worship of one pantheon or another.
Satanists and early Christians share this practice.
Satan  and many other gods require blood sacrifice for much a different reason than YHVH.  And it includes human sacrifice, which YHVH has never required.
Wiccans do not work with sacrifices. We do not shed blood of any kind.
I know that is what I thought as well.  But I discovered that some of my friends were going off into directions such as vodun that did include animal sacrifice.  And, again, goddess worship history is fraught with examples of human and animal sacrifice.
And even though modern Christians have neglected the ancient practice of
Slaying the lamb, there are, however, still some cultures who with hold the
Christian faith that still do blood sacrifices.
Those who do that do not comprehend the fulfillment of the sin sacrifice by Yeshua's Blood.  It is no longer necessary or useful because of His Sacrifice.
How often do you hear of wiccans killing in the name of their God?
Raping in the name of God?
Doing blood sacrifices?
I, for one have yet to come across wiccans involved in these practices.
You may not have personally experienced these practices, but you surely know that does not mean they don't happen.  And, again, goddess worshippers do indeed have a history of these practices.

And yes, I do have many Christian friends, but never will they disrespect my
Beliefs the way you have turned on yours.
Are you sure that they respect your beliefs?  You might want to ask them if they think you are on a path to destruction.
They may feel the same way Schnoebelen & I do but simply choose to pray for your salvation rather than to debate with you about something they perceive that you are not receptive to.  The statements on my husband's site and Mr. Schnoebelen's site were not forced upon you, but are there for you to read or not read, to agree or disagree with, but they are there to reach out and hopefully help you.  You seem to have no respect for the Believer's faith, or you would not have been so outraged and appalled by what you read of your own free will.  I encourage you to develop a bit more tolerance for this point of view.

I have worlds of information I could write, but I feel I have written a
Sufficient amount.
